UGOH work can involve the underground path between a network connection point, boundary position and a customer's switchboard. The electrical design, network-owner requirements and site conditions determine the exact arrangement. The excavation crew's role is to deliver the trench, bore, pits and conduit path to the electrical brief.
Level 2 ASPs should provide the proposed route, conduit specification, depth and cover requirements, connection points, service drawings and any inspection hold points before excavation is booked. If the route crosses a driveway or public footpath, decide early whether trenchless underboring can reduce reinstatement.
A clean handover matters. Cap and label conduits, leave draw ropes as specified, photograph the completed path and communicate any ground or access variation before the electrical connection stage.
