What It Is
Non-destructive digging (NDD), also known as vacuum excavation, uses high-pressure air or water combined with an industrial vacuum to remove soil around known or suspected services without physical contact. It's the safest way to expose live electrical, gas, water, or comms infrastructure for inspection, potholing, or connection work.
How It Works
Dial Before You Dig
We confirm known service locations before mobilising on site.
Vacuum Excavate
Soil is loosened with air or water and removed by vacuum, exposing the service.
Inspect
The exposed service is inspected, measured, or connected as required.
Backfill
The pit is backfilled and compacted once work is complete.
