Choose the right method
Underbore or Trench?
The right method depends on the surface, alignment, access, ground and service specification. We assess the crossing before recommending the least disruptive practical approach.
Underbore when
The pathway must cross an existing driveway, road, footpath or other finished surface and a pit-to-pit route is suitable.
Trench when
The route needs a continuous open excavation, specific grade, pit, bedding or coordinated service corridor.

Do you connect the electrical or NBN service?
No. We prepare the underground pathway and crossing. Connection, termination and other regulated work must be completed by the appropriately licensed or accredited contractor.
Can conduit be installed under a driveway?
Yes, where the driveway, alignment, ground and existing services make a trenchless crossing suitable. See our driveway underboring service for the specific assessment.
Do you install draw ropes?
Draw ropes can be included where they are part of the agreed conduit installation specification.
Do you use trenching or underboring?
Both methods are available. We choose between them based on the surface, ground, route, grade, access and service requirements.
